This is one of the best books I’ve ever read.

At the current time, I am on my twenty-first book of the year and it is of my favourite newly-discovered fantasy series, Temeraire by Naomi Novik. The picture above is the UK cover of the first book. (The UK covers are so much prettier than the US covers, as is usually the case with books, I find.) I am reading the fifth, Victory of Eagles (simultaneously with The Selected Works of T.S. Spivet and Royal Assassin, which is the most number of books I’ve read at one time).
